Beard & Shave Services
Beard Trim
Expert beard shaping and grooming for a clean, defined look.
Your barber maps the line to your jaw and cheekbones, evens the length throughout, and cleans up the neckline and edges. Shaped so it grows out well, not just so it looks good walking out the door.
30 min
The Feature
Haircut and beard trim together — the complete grooming package.
The most popular way to book. Cut and beard done in one sitting by the same barber, so the two are balanced against each other rather than shaped in isolation a few weeks apart.
60 min
Executive Hot Shave / Hot Towel
Traditional straight razor shave with hot towel treatment — the classic experience.
Hot towels to soften the beard and open the pores, a proper lather, then a straight razor shave with the grain and against it. Finished with an aftershave and a cool towel. The closest shave you can get, and the most relaxing forty-five minutes in the shop.
45 min
The Blockbuster
Cut, style, beard trim and hot towel treatment — the works.
Everything in one appointment. Book it before a wedding, a shoot, a big interview, or any time you want to walk out feeling completely reset.

What Happens in a Hot Towel Shave
- Hot towels. Steamed towels go on the face to soften the beard and open the pores. This is the step that makes the difference between a close shave and an irritating one.
- Lather. A proper shave lather is worked in to lift the hair and protect the skin underneath.
- The shave. A straight razor, first with the grain, then across or against it where your skin allows.
- The finish. Aftershave and a cool towel to close the pores and calm the skin.
It takes about forty-five minutes, and there's a movie playing the whole time.

Beard & Shave Questions
How much is a beard trim in West Palm Beach?
A beard trim at Reel Clips Barbershop is $30 and takes about 30 minutes. If you want a haircut with it, The Feature is $40 and covers both.
How much is a hot towel shave?
Our Executive Hot Shave with hot towel treatment is $45 and takes about 45 minutes. It's a traditional straight razor shave, not a clipper shave.
What's the difference between a beard trim and a hot shave?
A beard trim shapes and maintains the beard you have — length, lines, neckline, edges. A hot towel shave removes it, using hot towels to soften the hair first and a straight razor for the closest possible finish. If you want to keep the beard, book the trim. If you want it off, or you want the classic barbershop experience on your face and neck, book the shave.
How often should I get my beard trimmed?
Every two to four weeks for most people. Shorter, sharply-lined beards need the tighter end of that range because the lines blur first. Longer beards can stretch further between visits, but still benefit from regular shaping to stay even.
Can I get a shave if I have sensitive skin?
Tell your barber before you sit down. The hot towel step exists precisely to soften the hair and reduce irritation, and your barber can adjust technique and the products used. If you've had trouble with razor burn or ingrown hairs before, mention it — that's useful information, not a complaint.
Do I need an appointment for a beard trim?
Booking ahead is the surest way to get the barber and time you want. Each of our seven barbers takes their own online bookings, or you can call (561) 517-9383 to ask about same-day availability.
